CALMING ENERGY: Lava Stone | Fleur De Lis | Yoga Chakra Bracelet
Crystals were created as the earth formed and they have continued to metamorphose as the planet itself has changed. They are the earth's DNA, a chemical imprint for evolution. They are miniature storehouses containing the records of the development of the earth over millions of years, and bearing the indelible memory of the powerful forces that shaped it. Their crystalline structure can absorb, conserve, focus and emit energy, especially on the electromagnetic waveband.
Crystals make excellent jewelry for both men and women. Wearing gems used to be a royal or priestly prerogative. The high priest of Judaism wore a breastplate set with precious stones. It was much more than a badge of office; it conveyed power to the wearer. As far back as the Stone Age, men and women wore crystal jewelry and talismen. They had a protective as well as decorative function, guarding their wearer from harm.
Crystals have been used to heal and bring balance, working through resonance and vibration. Crystals are said to heal holistically - that is to say, they work on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of being. They realign subtle energies that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body and activating linkage points to the chakras that regulate the body's vibrational stasis. Chakra stone therapy has been shown to help cancer patients.

Honor | Nobility | Dignity | Integrity
The English translation of "fleur-de-lis" (sometimes spelled "fleur-de-lys") is "flower of the lily." This symbol, depicting a stylized lily or lotus flower, has many meanings.
It is a representation of honor, nobility, dignity and integrity. It is a symbol of strength that is found ubiquitously on coats of arms and city emblems around the world.
Traditionally, it has been used to represent French royalty, and in that sense it is said to signify perfection, light and life.
Legend has it that an angel presented Clovis, the Merovingian king of the Franks, with a golden lily as a symbol of his purification upon his conversion to Christianity.
Others claim that Clovis adopted the symbol when waterlilies showed him how to safely cross a river and thus succeed in battle.

Lava stone is easily the oldest and most frequently found stone in world; hence, it’s used by nearly an endless amount of cultures.
Lava stone literally comes from the core of the earth- fiery brimstone that bubbles to the surface and cools. Once the stone is cool, it becomes porous and black, creating the beautiful black color so many have come to love.
Lava stone doesn’t really have the “look” of something that is healing; but for centuries it has been used to do exactly that.
When thinking of lava stones, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s origin plays a key role in its energetic qualities.
Since lava is known for its grounding qualities, it’s wonderful for calming the emotions. In fact, the quality of fire springs from the ground, so in terms of healing gems, this lends itself to a calming- but intense- energy. Because it comes from raw energy, it’s considered to be a stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment. Lava stones are fantastic for stabilizing and grounding the root chakra. This is because of the strong connection to the earth and its creation within the center of Earth. In folk remedies, it was also given to soldiers to help them remain calm during battle.
Lava stones are also used as a folk remedy for infertility and poor libido.
